Jesus said, "My house will be a house of prayer for all the nations" (Mark 11:17) Prayer is the starting line and the finish line when it comes to reaching the villages of Alaska.

If we look back throughout history we will see evidence that prayer is directly linked to missionaries being sent To boldly proclaim the gospel to the unreached (Acts 4:31, 13:1-3; Eph. 6:19; col. 4:3; 1 Thess. 5:17; 2 Thess. 3:1; Phil. 6).

Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, and the laborers are few, therefore PRAY EARNESTLY to the Lord of the harvest to send the laborers into the harvest" (Luke 10:2).

The Lord has made it clear that He is calling us to start a prayer room (A House of Prayer for the villages of Alaska) that will gather DAILY for prayer. Prayer will start this movement and prayer will sustain this movement. WE believe that prayer and worship must be the daily and continual posture of effective missionaries.

John Piper said it best, “Missions exist because worship doesn’t.”

Therefore, we desire for all of life to be devoted to prayer, trusting that the overflow will lead to missional living and gospel proclamation.

**please note** we will primarily be devoting our time in the prayer room to praying for the villages of Alaska
